Partnership with British Telecom
Through this partnership, Neuf Cegetel enterprise clients will benefit from the worldwide IP network and prime expertise of BT, a highly reputed provider of international telecommunications services. Specifically, BT will be offering Neuf Cegetel clients international coverage extending to 115 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region, with an efficient, reliable and cost-effective service for connecting international sites through an already operational secure interconnection gateway. Eurovia (Vinci group), which recently renewed its contract with Neuf Cegetel, will be one of the first clients to use the new solution.
Secure, efficient, operational international service
Under the partnership with BT, 9 Ipnet brings companies a seamless service with high datarates and low response times for international/international and France/international exchanges. Datarates between Europe and Asia, for example, are the highest on the market, up to 100 Mbits via Ethernet. The international network interconnection service is based on MPLS technology and is managed and supervised by BTT. It uses a high-security, meshed, redundant infrastructure, with end-to-end filtering mechanisms enabling personnel to access their company information systems from any location, under full security.
High service quality under controlled budget conditions
The agreement specifies reinforced service-class mechanisms (SLA) for quality enhancement linked to flow type (at access and core network levels). Service quality commitments ensure uninterrupted availability of critical applications and guaranteed transmission of voice traffic via dedicated bandwidth. With DSL access schemes available in many countries, Neuf Cegetel can offer clients the full benefit of the new services at highly competitive rates.
The agreement with BT illustrates Neuf Cegetel’s determination to widen its lead in data services. For major multinational corporations, Neuf Cegetel also offers an integrated services package featuring high reliability and service quality.
